Day 4 was Saturday. We started our working session at 10am with a warm
up activity. Then Lithuanian group organized a workshop about learning English with
technology. This workshop was split into four activities, aiming to learn new words by watching cartoons; translating songs lyrics; playing mobile App’s: Duolingo, uTalk go, Babbel; watching Youtube video blogs.
“I found out this workshop really interesting for me because I explored
new ways to learn languages.” Mr. Niccolo Guarguaglini said.
“I think that we did a good job with this workshop. Participants
mentioned a lot of new English words by watching cartoons in original language
with subtitles.” Ugnė Aglinskaitė said.
The rest of the day was for the preparation of public action in Lorca
that had to take place the next day. We split in three groups made up by around
8 people.
We had to create three “human buses” to explain what a Youth Exchange
is. To do that, we created “Magic bus”, “Disco bus” and “Flowers bus”. We spent
all the afternoon trying to find ideas and prepare for the action next day.
All groups gave the best they could to make this project and their work
were really interesting.
